Moveman at the Height of Fitness

We all know that keeping fit is a vital component for a leading a healthy life and Moveman, the UK’s leading supplier of wheelchair lifts, are helping to ensure that people with mobility problems can have access to the wide range of facilities at Esporta Health Club in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Esporta, the exclusive health and fitness chain, took advantage of Moveman’s expertise in the provision of access for wheelchairs by installing a Supreme platform lift to provide alternative access to the Café Bar area and resistance gym equipment.

Situated in the reception area, the lift has been specifically designed for the club and features an adjacent configuration so that entry is via the longest length and, once the lift has travelled the distance 850mm to the upper floor, exit is via the short end.

Moveman used our extensive knowledge to provide the perfect solution to our customers’ problems and Esporta, Birmingham were particularly pleased with the lift. Simon Stokes, General Manager explains: “Esporta aim to provide a purpose built tranquil setting to accommodate everything our members need to workout, get fit, relax and unwind. It is important to us that there is easy access for everyone and the platform lift is perfect for enabling our less mobile members to also enjoy the wide range of facilities available.”

The ease at which the whole installation took place also impressed Esporta as Simon continues: “It was important that the lift was installed quickly and with the minimum fuss. The club was due to open only a couple of months later and Moveman worked well with the architects to make sure everything was in place in plenty of time.”
