movemanSKG’s New Platform LiftmovemanSKG’s new platform lift, the Companion Prestige A401, is ideal for listed and historic buildings. As well as complying with building regulations, it has a range of colours and finishes. Its special belt drive system allows the self-supporting enclosure to be glass on all four sides and the carriage control panel can be brass, stainless steel, or real hardwoods like oak or mahogany. This means the seamless integration of the Prestige A401 into any environment. This is a key issue when improving access in historic buildings. The Prestige A401 has an environmentally friendly design and is simple to maintain. It does not require oil changes like hydraulically driven units. This eliminates oil leaks, which are messy and expensive to clean. The Prestige A401 operates quietly and economically, making it suitable for historic and listed buildings open to the public. It has a small footprint and shallow pit requirement, yet generous platform size, meaning it fits where conventional lifts will not. As many historic buildings have space limitations, this is an important characteristic. The Prestige A401 lifts up to nine metres, has a lift capacity of 400kg and comes with all the usual movemanSKG refinements. These include ergonomic controls, level indicators and door safety systems. |
